I Fell So in Love ...!

My head upon your chest,

I fell so in love with your openess,

and in the echoing of your heart,

I know nothing can ever tear us apart.

So safe in the harbor of your arms,

I feel so secure.

It's like nothing I've ever known before.

In the sun lit surrending of your eyes,

all my fear of the unknowing dies

I know this is where I'm meant to be,

me loving you,

and you loving me...

"Don't" - My Friend ...!

Don't undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others,
It is because we are different that each of us is special.

Don't set your goals by what other people deem important,
Only you know what is best for you.

Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart
Cling to that as you would your life, for without them life is meaningless.

Don't let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past or the future.
By living your life one day at a time, you live all the days of your life.

Don't give up when you still have something to give.
Nothing is really over … until the moment you stop trying.

Don't be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect,
It is the fragile thread that binds us to each other.

Don't be afraid to encounter risks,
It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.

Don't shut love out of your life by saying it's impossible to find.
The quickest way to receive love is to give love.

The fastest way to lose love is to hold on too tightly,
And the best way to keep love is to give it wings.

Don't dismiss your Dreams. To be without dreams is to be without hope.
To be without hope is to be without purpose.

Don't run through life so fast that you forget where you've been,
But also know where you're going.

Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored every step of the way.

Always Remember to Love Yourself

Always remember to love yourself,
For the person that you are,
Put all doubts and fears upon the shelf,
And from them you'll go far.

Seek out positive people for friends,
That you enjoy to be around,
For true bonds of friendship never ends,
Once it has been found.

Learn to forgive yourself,
As well as friend and foe,
Mistakes we make is how we learn,
And from them we can grow.

Always pursue happiness,
But never lose touch from Base,
The pursuit you'll find, is a state of mind,
And may be a life long chase.

Where You come from
Is not that Important,
What matters is always knowing,
The past is gone, the future is now,
And the future is where you'll be going.

Always try and keep your word,
Try not to ever lie,
Don't repeat bad things you've heard,
Karma comes back by.

If you worry about what might be,
And wonder what might have been,
You'll blind the thoughts that help you see
What is...and where to begin

Take or make time for a sunset,
Or perhaps a walk on the beach,
Peace of mind, you'll often find,
Is always quite within reach.

Always be strong and face your fear,
If you want that fear to disappear,
For if You turn and run away,
That fear within you is there to stay...

And before you bed down each night
Remember to say:

"LIFE LOVES ME AND I LOVE LIFE,
TOMORROWS GOING TO BE
A FANTASTIC DAY!"

Forget me not...!

Our little ones whisper,
"Forget me not",
As their specialness wraps
around our heart.

Their short little lives
Hold meaning and love.

Their spirits have touched
us-each and everyone.
They have left their gifts
For us to uncover,
If we open our eyes,
our hearts and our lives.

The road to discovery
is hilly and dark.
Will we long harbor the pain
or set our wings for the light?

Our lives have been changed,
our paths filled with sorrow.
Yet their memories embrace us
and our love lasts forever.

If we open our hearts,
their gifts shall unfold,
as we
forget them not.

"Be someone"

Be someone who listens, and you will be heard.

Be someone who cares, and you will be loved.

Be someone who gives, and you will be blessed.

Be someone who comforts, and you will know peace.

Be someone who genuinely seeks to understand, and you will be wise.

Be someone kind, someone considerate, and you will be admired.

Be someone who values truth, and you will be respected.

Be someone who takes action, and you will move life forward.

Be someone who lifts others higher, and your life will be rich.

Be someone filled with gratitude, and there will be no end to the things for which you'll be thankful.

Be someone who lives with joy, with purpose, as your own light brightly shines.

Be, in every moment, the special someone you are truly meant to be.

Thank You !

Difference between Love and Marriage Explained Beautifully ...!

A student asks a teacher, "What is love? "The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the wheat field and choose the biggest wheat and come back.
But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back o pick."
The student went to the field, go thru first row, he saw one big wheat, but he wonders....may be there is a bigger one later.
The teacher told him, "...this is love... You keep looking for a better one, but when later you realize, you have already miss the person...."

*"What is marriage then?" the student asked.

The Power of Love ...!

A mighty King was marching home after being victorious in a gruesome battle. He had captured

the crown prince of the neighbouring kingdom and killed the King. The King was crossing

through a jungle. He wanted to rest.

The army halted there for the evening. Nearby was a hermitage. The king decided to pay his

respects to the sage there. He sent his Minister and some soldiers to seek an audience. They

told the disciples there, "Maharaj wants to meet the sage." The disciples said, "Guruji has

retired for the day, you can come tomorrow."

The next morning the King came to the hermitage dressed in his royal finery, accompanied by

his ministers and attendants. The sage was sitting under a tree and scattering bajra seeds

all around. Hundreds of birds of different kinds were eating and the sound of their

twittering filled the air.

The King walked up to the sage. The sage did not look up.

The king said, "Pranam, Guruji!" No answer.

He spoke louder, "Pranam, Guruji!" Still, no answer.

"Guruji, I said Pranam!" he said in an angry voice.

The sage looked up and said, "Stop shouting, you are scaring the birds."

That made the king even more furious. "Do you know who I am?" he shouted. The sage said

calmly, "Yes, I do. You are the one who kills for the love of power. You are the one who

knows not that this power is temporary. One day another King shall kill you in the same way.

The love of power shall bring about your downfall."

The king was beside himself with rage. He said, "Your impertinence is intolerable. I shall

behead you just now!" He drew out his sword and raised it to strike the sage.

In an instant, hundreds of birds flew up and attacked the king. They poked their beaks into

his face, his eyes and his arms and all over. The king moved his arms up and around to ward

off the birds. But the birds wouldn't leave him. The sage said, "Leave him! Leave him! Come

to me my dears!"

All at once, the birds quietened down and sat meekly at the feet of the sage.

The sage said, "All I ever gave these birds is love. Oh King! Realize the power of love. The

love of power has blinded you and brought you to the level of a killer. These birds would

have killed you, but that's because they love me. I rule over them like a king too, but the

only power I ever exercise over them is the power of love and it is greatest power on this

Earth."

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter that tells what kind of life you have lived!

Sorry I'm Still in Love ...!

I'm sorry that I'm writing you but I just can't forget.
All the memories of me with you,
Are running through my head
I'm sorry that I cried today
Though you didn't see my tears,
I just can't forget the fact
That today would be one year.

You said you didn't love me
But I know its not the truth
So here it is,
I'm saying it,
I still love you too.

I can hear it when you talk to me
When you say my name.
How the words almost slip out,
But you hold them back in shame

All day I've been thinking of you,
And what we could have been
Happily ever after,
Is what we both said.

I sit here,
And concentrate
On leaving you behind
But I know that no matter what happens
No words could make you mine

Dear Valentine,
I'm sorry that I told the truth,
Sorry you're the one,
Sorry that it hurts so much,
Sorry I'm still in love.

Thanks for being my friend ...!

Thanks for being my friend
by Ravneet
I don’t think you know what you mean to me
But you mean a lot
The chance of us not being friends
Is a real long shot

I hate when you’re sad
I love it when you’re happy
Because if your upset
It makes me feel crappy

Thanks for always being there
When I needed you most
If it weren’t for you the chances of me not being here
Would have really come close

I don’t know what I would do
If you weren’t my friend
I don’t think my heart
Would ever mend

I hope you know I always have your back
Just like you’ve had mine
And it will always stay that way
Until the end of time

We’ll be friends
Hopefully without end
So I just wanna say thanks
Thanks for being my friend

With You ...!

each day in with you,
another piece of me breaks away.
leaving but another
open sore.
  every time i see you,
i look away only to
keep my tears down.
i still love you.
i love you to the point
to where it hurts like hell.
you didnt hurt me
but love me.
love me as i loved you.
accept me as i accepted you.
and see me as i saw you.
but you did hurt me.
and i let it happen.
i let you run me over,
i let you have your ways.
i let you touch me,
i let you in.
i trusted you.
i loved you.
i wanted you mine.
but you were never
really mine.
you never will be.
you're not mine to hold,
you're not mine to keep,
not mine to love.
you are hers.
you love her and i love you.
and why cant you see that?
she doesn't love you
like i do.
everyday i ask myself
why i let you do those
things to me.
why i let you
run me over.
but i never come up
with any answer but:
''it was because i loved you,
and i didn't care.''
and its true i didn't care.
i knew you weren't and never would be mine.
but i liked to think
that you were.
i didn't care
because i loved you so much.
and i didn't care
what happened.
but i didn't expect to get hurt,
nor run over.

I'll Always With You !
Your Love

Resolve Conflicts with Friends ...!

Fighting with friends is tough all around. We often say things we don't mean and feelings get hurt. Occasionally, no one wants to admit they were wrong and no one wants to apologize; it seems as though the situation is beyond repair. There are many ways to resolve conflicts with friends. Here are some things you can do to start  down the road to conflict resolution.

Step 1 :

Calm down. No one thinks rationally when emotionally worked up. Give yourself time to calm down before even thinking of the subject of the conflict again.

Step 2 :

Give each other respect. Without first respecting your friend, it is unlikely that the conflict will be resolved amicably.

Step 3 :

Give each other space. When the conflict has become too heated, walk away.

Step 4 :

Give each other time. Time to cool off will help all parties involved think things over in a rational manner.

Step 5 :

Respect each other's space and time. Everybody's different. Your friend may need a week before he is ready to resolve the conflict and you may need only a day. Give him the time he needs.

Step 6 :

Communicate. Not talking only makes matters worse. Periodically contact your friend to let her know that you still care about her.

Step 7 :

Listen well. Listen intently and focus on his point of view with an open mind.

Step 8 :

Choose your words wisely. Avoid accusatory phrases like "you never," "you always" or "why would you."

Step 9 :

Leave out the "but." When your friend asks if you accept his apology don't say "yes, but..." It's a conditional acceptance and can lead to more hurt feelings. The same goes for "I understand, but.."

Step 10 :

Let it go. If you can't find common ground, agree to disagree and let it go. Nothing good will come out of the conflict if you don't.

Friends are forever, as are Diamonds.

You Are My Everything ...!

When we first fell in love,
I thought that nothing could compare,

To the magical romance,
That you and I had come to share.

But as time passed,

feelings deepened, And our closeness grew

The romance turned into,
A real and lasting love with you.

You care for me in all the ways, I want and need so much.

I`ve felt your warmth and tenderness,
With every word and touch.

I know I can depend on you,

For support and honesty,

That patient understanding,
That you always give to me.

There`s a special kind of happiness, That only love can bring,

And I`ve found that happiness with you,
You are my everything.

God is with all his Children ...!

Mother jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said: 'How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?'

The surgeon said, 'I'm sorry.. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it.'
Mother said, 'Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care any more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?'

The surgeon asked, 'Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university..'
Mother asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. 'Would you like a lock of his hair?' the nurse asked. Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to his mother.

The mother said, 'It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. 'I said no at first, but her son said, 'Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom.' She went on, 'My son had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could.'
Mother walked out of Children's Mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with son's belongings on the seat beside her in the car.

The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried her son's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room.

She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them She lay down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep.

It was around midnight when mother awoke. Lying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said:

'Dear Mom,

I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say 'I Love You'. I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day.. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know.

Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything. The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD! And guess what, Mom? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed. Well, you know what Mom? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him 'where was He when I needed him?' 'God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children.

Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool? I have to give God His pen back now He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food will be great.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore the cancer is all gone. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery! How about that?

Signed with Love from God, Jesus & Me.

*Heart Touching ...! *

I was a just-born and she was Twenty-Five,
Though we were we, we were one.
I would cry out in Latin and she would respond in Greek,
I would learn nothing but she never got tired to teach.

I was surrounded by monsters eager to pull my cheek,
but they would vanish the moment I was wet and weep.
She would come running and hold me in her arms,
as if I had won the contest of the charms.

Now I was able to walk and chew,
and hey, I was two.
I and she could now understand each other,
I was her everything and she needed no other.

I would try to walk and fall down,
But knowing she was with me,
the fear of getting hurt was now gone.
We still could not converse that effectively,
But she would understand my needs so easily.

I could now roam about free,
because now I have turned three.
I was ready to join a new world,
my academic life was now gonna mould.

She would dress me as best as a prince,
but when I would come back,
she would need at least an hour to rinse.
I was now able to talk,
I was a ferry and she was my dock.

I still remember the child, whose shirt I had tore,
Hey buddy, I have turned four.
I now came home a little late,
Nevertheless finding her waiting at the gate.
She would hug me and carry me in her arms,
it felt like flying through the farms.
We now did the homework together,
I would spoil the home and she used to work.

Years passed and now I was fifteen,
and with each year I would forget to lean.
I wouldn't care for what she said,
because now I had become mean.
She would ask me to study for a good future,
but I was busy in a different culture.
Now I had many shes in my life,
I dreamed of having one of them as my wife.

I changed a lot which she did not teach,
She would try to hug me but I was out of reach.
She still waited for me at the gate,
but I would look at her with utmost hate.
She would be awake till late in the night,
because I wasn't home, I was in a fight.
She had so much to scold, but she never did say,
hoping to find me better the next day.
Time went on and now I am grown,
lost in the world of my own.

I and she, between us have a river,
I have left her for my career.
When I was young, for me, she sacrificed her ambitions,
but I don't care, I now have my own mission.
I am not with her now, I am in a different city,
she is so old now but I don't even pity.

She needs me now but I am nowhere to find,
in the race for appraisal, I have become blind.
In a few years from now, I will be two,
there will be in my life someone new.
Then I'll forget even to bother,
I am her son and she is my Mother

A Special Room In My Heart ...!

I have a special “room” in my heart,
Held only for you, dear one.
It’s a room where I can close my eyes,
And dream ‘till the morn brings sun.

This special room is where I go
When my mind starts thinking of you.
It’s a place that only I know where,
My dreams and thoughts come true.

No one can enter, into this room,
For it’s you that holds the key.
And when I listen closely, I hear,
“Come darling and be with me”

My heart is filled with many rooms,
Some only meant for dreams.
Fantasy, ecstasy or a way to escape,
Let our minds flow like a stream.

So if someday, you enter my room,
It’s then that you will see,
A room of love and a heart that holds
More love than the deep blue sea.

Three Trees...!

Once there were three trees on a hill in the woods. They were discussing their hopes and dreams when the first tree said, "Someday I hope to be a treasure chest. I could be filled with gold, silver and precious gems. could be decorated with intricate carving and everyone would see the beauty." Then the second tree said, "Someday I will be a mighty ship. I will take kings and queens across the waters and sail to the corners of the world. Everyone will feel safe in me because of the strength of my hull." Finally the third tree said, "I want to grow to be the tallest and straightest tree in the forest. People will see me on top of the hill and look up to my branches, and think of the heavens and God and how close to them I am reaching. I will be the greatest tree of all time and people will always remember me."

After a few years of praying that their dreams would come true, a group of woodsmen came upon the trees. When one came to the first tree he said, "This looks like a strong tree, I think I should be able to sell the wood to a carpenter" ... and he began cutting it down. The tree was happy, because he knew that the carpenter would make him into a treasure chest. At the second tree a woodsman said, "This looks like a strong tree, I should be able to sell it to the shipyard." The second tree was happy because he knew he was on his way to becoming a mighty ship. When the woodsmen came upon the third tree, the tree was frightened because he knew that if they cut him down his dreams would not come true. One of the woodsmen said, "I don't need anything special from my tree so I'll take this one", and he cut it down."

When the first tree arrived at the carpenters, he was made into a feed box for animals. He was then placed in a barn and filled with hay. This was not at all what he had prayed for. The second tree was cut and made into a small fishing boat. His dreams of being a mighty ship and carrying kings had come to an end. The third tree was cut into large pieces and left alone in the dark.

The years went by, and the trees forgot about their dreams. Then one day, a man and woman came to the barn. She gave birth and they placed the baby in the hay in the feed box that was made from the first tree. The man wished that he could have made a crib for the baby, but this manger would have to do. The tree could feel the importance of this event and knew that it had held the greatest treasure of all time.

Years later, a group of men got in the fishing boat made from the second tree. One of them was tired and went to sleep. While they were out on the water, a great storm arose and the tree didn't think it was strong enough to keep the men safe. The men woke the sleeping man, and he stood and said "Peace" and the storm stopped. At this time, the tree knew that it had carried the King of Kings in its boat.

Finally, someone came and got the third tree. It was carried through the streets as the people mocked the man who was carrying it. When they came to a stop, the man was nailed to the tree and raised in the air to die at the top of a hill. When Sunday came, the tree came to realize that it was strong enough to stand at the top of the hill and be as close to God as was possible, because God had been crucified on it.

The moral of this story is that when things don't seem to be going your way, always know that God has a plan for you. If you place your trust in Him, He will give you great gifts. Each of the trees got what they wanted, just not in the way they had imagined. We don't always know what God's plans are for us. We just know that His ways are not our ways, but His ways are always best.

Nothing More Than Dreams ...!

I long to feel your hand in mine,
the warmth in your touch,
the softness in their carress

I long to gaze into your eyes,
to see the dreams that most overlook

I long to hear the sound of you voice,
the laughter in your words,
the calm in your voice

I long to feel your skin against mine,
the sensation in your embrace,
the excitement in your physique

I long to touch your lips with mine,
to taste their touch, the emotions that unravel

But all these wishes are nothing more,
than dreams that keep me searching,
to keep in mind those moments in time
that I was graced by your presence.

With Love,
Ravneet.
